Bob,

Great to see you're doing well in your new venture! I'm trying to track down all the former members of the Edgar Rice Burroughs Amateur Press Association (ERBAPA)to invite them to submit something for our Silver Anniversary Issue -- 100 issues without missing a quarter! We'd love to hear from you, whether a short salutation, a longer letter updating us on what you've been up to, or a guest submission (55 copies of the latter).

Check us out at http://www.geocities.com/erbapa/
and drop me an e-mail at TracyG04(at)aol.com. Cheers!

Hi Tracy,

Great to hear from you! It's been a while since I connected with a Bibliophile. I appreciate the post at my blog site--still trying to find the time in my writing schedule to work the site and generate some traffic.

I've got an agent out pushing my novel, 'Gift of the Desert Dog, but as I'm sure you know, the publishing market right now is very tight. At least two major houses that I know of are temporarily closed to new acquisitions. Bummer! But we keep banging away and will eventually find a home for the book. I'm currently working on my fourth novel for middle grade/YA.

I'll get in touch with you by email. Thanks again for the post.

Best wishes,
Bob (Top Dog)

Dear Bear Hunter,

Sorry about the delay in responding to your post. I'm smack dab in the middle of writing an 'edge-of-your-seat' conclusion to 'Secrets of the Medicine Pouch!' It's a story you're going to love! And one my agent can't wait to see as well!

I'll keep you posted on the publishing news for 'Secrets,' and in the meantime, keep reading all those great stories of mystery and adventure. Hey, have you read Brian Selznick's 'The Invention of Hugo Cabret?' If not, YOU MUST!

My best,

Top Dog
