'Author in Residence,' Valencia Middle School

Hello Doggers,

Exciting news for students and faculty at Valencia Middle School, Tucson, AZ! I will be the school's 'author in residence' for the week of November 7, 2011, visiting classes, working with both large and small groups on writing skills, i.e. plot development, creating excellent 'hook,' story arc, pacing, and voice, and meeting with career skills students in the library.

I am really looking forward to the week with students. It should be both fun and productive!
I'll have some postings with comments after the week concludes.

Ahooooooooooo!
